Faye Burton is dead. But nothing is normal about her death – nor her foetus. The blurb for this book lays out how the book begins with the discovery of Faye’s body, but the story that follows is paranormal about Faye and her unborn child.
The story is told in chapters that go back and forth from 2025 as we learn about Faye’s life and exactly what got her into her predicament and ultimate demise, and 2026 after the discovery of Faye’s body and what ensues after the discovery – something that becomes life-changing for PC Firth and takes the story to a whole new level. If I said anything more about this story it would end up dropping spoilers, so if you’re enticed enough, you’ll have to read the book.
